The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) made a change in 2016 and is now available earlier. The FAFSA application will open each year on October 1st. Please visit: www.fafsa.org.gov for all the information and the application for FAFSA.

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application opens October 1 of each year for the next academic year (i.e., 2019-20 FAFSA opens October 1, 2018, for the 2019-20 academic year which includes fall 2019, spring 2020 and summer 2020). • For assistance, come to FAFSA Fridays each Friday in October through the second Friday in November and each Friday in March through the second Friday in April, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.. • Information needed to complete the FAFSA - Student FSA ID - Parent FSA ID - Federal income tax forms from two year's prior tax return (i.e., 2017 tax return for the 2019-20 FAFSA) - Approximately 45 minutes to complete the FAFSA GGC SCHOOL CODE IS0414290
