SAT and ACT Test Fee Waivers
SAT Test Fee Waivers:
SAT Test Fee Waivers can be given to students who are currently receiving Free or Reduced lunch at Grayson High School. You must renew your free or reduced lunch status each year. Students must be a Junior or Senior. Underclassmen do not qualify for test fee waivers.
Who Qualifies for an SAT Test Fee Waivers?

ACT Test Fee Waivers:
ACT Test Fee Waivers are issued similarly to students in the same way a SAT Test Fee Waiver is issued. The qualifications are the same, however you will need to be issued by Mrs. Lake a second test fee waiver if you wish to take the ACT test two times.
You will receive the waivers the same way as you receive the SAT Test Fee waivers.

SAT Test Fee Waivers:

Who Qualifies for an SAT Test Fee Waivers?
- Juniors or Seniors who currently receiving free or reduced lunch.
- Two (lifetime, not per year) test administrations including the writing portion.
- Four College Application Fee Waivers
- Unlimited Score reports sent to colleges (Must send test scores to colleges through your College Board account in order for them to be official). GHS cannot sent your scores.
- Late registration fee (please note if you register late there may not be a seat available at the test site location of your choice.) Register early.
- If you are attending school in person you may see Mrs. Lake in the College & Career Center (Room A1.170) to pick up your waiver.
- If learning virtually you will need to email Mrs. Lake with you name, grade and student number.

The University System of Georgia announced Tuesday, August 25, 2020, that due to the COVID 19 pandemic, students applying to college for Fall of 2021 will have the option to “test out”
on their application for admissions.
This means that you will not be required to submit an ACT or SAT score as part of the application process.
You will still need to complete all other requirements.
GPA, Course Rigor, Counselor Recommendation, involvement outside the classroom (including but not limited to, sports, fine arts, community service, jobs, etc.) will be considered at a higher level of importance now more than ever.
Colleges that are part of the University System are as follows. If you plan to apply to any other colleges in state or out of state you will need to review that individual college’s website to see if they still require test scores for admission purposes:
